When the shuttle is the right call

Travelling alone or as a couple, arriving mid-morning, staying on the main Banff Avenue strip, and happy to sit through a few hotel drop-offs? A scheduled shuttle is the cheapest way in, and it runs frequently in peak season.

When a private transfer wins outright

Four or five people. Per-person shuttle pricing catches up fast; at five you're usually paying more for a slower ride.
Ski or golf gear. Shuttle bays are shared and capped. An SUV cargo area isn't.
Late or delayed arrivals. Timetables don't wait. We track the flight and adjust for free.
Small children or elderly parents. Direct, one stop, your own vehicle, no standing in a kiosk queue.
Hotels off the main strip. Canmore's Spring Creek, Three Sisters, and most Banff side streets aren't standard shuttle stops.
