Bring your own car seat

Alberta law requires infants under 1 year (or under 9 kg) in a rear-facing seat, and children under 6 years or 18 kg in a booster or forward-facing car seat. This applies to any vehicle you're in on the highway, including private transfers.

We ask families to bring their own car seat or booster — most airlines carry them free of charge, and we'll install it at YYC arrivals and store it at your hotel for the return trip. Let us know at booking so we plan accordingly.

The luggage problem, solved

Families to Banff typically arrive with more luggage than adults-only travellers: strollers, car seats, ski gear in winter, snow suits, an extra suitcase for the kids. Our GMC Yukon XL has genuine room for it all — up to 5 large suitcases plus carry-ons, plus stroller. No stacking on laps. No leaving anything behind.

No shared shuttle chaos

Shared shuttles work fine for two adults with a carry-on each. With kids after a long flight, a bus that stops at six other hotels before yours is a different story. Private means straight from arrivals to your hotel — often the difference between a nap on arrival and a full meltdown.

Bathroom breaks and snacks

It's 90 minutes door-to-door with no scheduled stops. If someone needs the bathroom, we pull off at Canmore — takes 5 minutes, no drama. Water and snacks are in the vehicle. You're not stuck on a bus watching the exit signs go by.

Late arrivals with tired kids

Flights from Sydney, London, and much of the US land in Calgary in the afternoon or evening. By the time you clear customs with kids and luggage, it's often dark. A private chauffeur waiting at arrivals with your name — luggage handled, ready to help load your car seat — is genuinely the easiest way to end a long travel day.
